An Accountant is responsible for recording, managing, and analyzing financial transactions of an organization. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax laws, and proper maintenance of company accounts.
Responsibilities
• Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)
• Maintain ledgers and accounting books
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account)
• Handle tax-related work (GST, TDS, Income Tax filing)
• Manage invoices, billing, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
