Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to operate heavy excavation equipment safely and efficiently for construction, mining, or earthmoving projects. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of excavator controls, digging procedures, and equipment safety standards. The role involves performing excavation activities, inspecting machinery condition, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring smooth project operations while following workplace safety and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
• Operate excavators for digging, trenching, earthmoving, and material handling activities according to project requirements
• Inspect excavator systems, hydraulic components, and operational controls before daily operations
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams during excavation and construction activities efficiently
• Perform basic equipment maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
• Follow safety procedures and ensure safe operation of heavy equipment on construction or mining sites
