Job Summary
A Foreman supervises workers at construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial sites and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of workers and subcontractors.
Assign tasks and monitor work progress.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and work orders.
Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower requirements.
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
Report project status, delays, and issues to management.
Train and guide workers on proper work procedures.
Maintain site discipline and productivity.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma / ITI / Diploma (preferred).
Experience in construction, maintenance, manufacturing, or related field.
Proven supervisory or team-leading experience.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards.
Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
Good communication and leadership skills.
