Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to transport goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license, good knowledge of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle long-distance or local transportation assignments professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate heavy trucks safely for transporting goods and materials
* Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
* Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness
* Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
* Maintain delivery records, logbooks, and transport documentation
* Load and unload cargo when required and ensure proper cargo securing
* Report vehicle issues, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly
* Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and warehouse staff
* Monitor fuel usage and maintain vehicle cleanliness
* Ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with transport regulations
* Support emergency or urgent delivery requirements when necessary
Required Qualifications
* Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
* Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
* Ability to drive long distances and work flexible schedules
* Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection knowledge
* Good communication and coordination skills
* Physically fit and capable of handling transportation duties
Preferred Skills

* Time management and punctuality
* Basic troubleshooting and vehicle inspection skills

Experience
* 2–5 years of experience as a heavy truck driver preferred
* GCC driving experience preferred (if applicable)
