The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare documentation practices to ensure accurate billing and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Certification in Medical Coding (CPC, CCS, CCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
0–1 years of experience in medical coding or healthcare billing.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management software.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Assign appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
• Ensure coding compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
• Verify and resolve coding discrepancies or documentation issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing teams to ensure accurate claim submissions.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in audits and quality assurance reviews related to medical coding.
• Assign appropriate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
