MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Engineer)
Job Summary
The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures that all MEP works are executed according to project specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Review MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, project standards, and safety requirements.
Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues on site.
Prepare material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
Conduct inspections and quality checks for MEP works.
Manage subcontractors and site workforce.
Support project planning, estimation, and procurement activities.
Prepare progress reports and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, electrical, and ELV systems.
Familiarity with international standards and codes.
