A Senior Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy of accounts, and supporting financial decision-making. The role involves supervising accounting operations, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and assisting in audits
Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow)
• Manage general ledger and accounting entries
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and reporting
• Prepare and file tax returns (GST, income tax, etc.)
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts
