A Site Engineer from Kannur is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on project sites, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role bridges the gap between design and execution, coordinating with project managers, consultants, contractors, and on-site labor teams.
Responsibilities
• Supervise construction activities and workforce on site
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
• Ensure work aligns with structural and architectural designs
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards)
• Manage material usage and site inventory
• Assist in cost estimation and quantity take-offs
• Resolve on-site technical challenges
