Structural Engineer
Job Summary
The Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems and components to ensure safety, stability, strength, and compliance with project specifications and engineering standards. The role involves coordination with architects, consultants, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural elements for buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and infrastructure projects.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Review architectural and engineering plans for structural feasibility.
Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Review shop drawings and material submittals.
Identify structural issues and recommend corrective solutions.
Support project planning, estimation, and execution activities.
Ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of work.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Master’s Degree preferred for senior positions.
Professional Engineer license/certification preferred.
Knowledge of structural design software.
