The Telecom Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication systems such as fiber optic cables, broadband connections, telephone lines, and network equipment. The role involves fieldwork, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring uninterrupted communication services for customers and businesses.
Responsibilities
• Install and configure telecom equipment and connections (fiber, broadband, telephone lines)
• Conduct site surveys and cable installations
• Troubleshoot and repair network and connectivity issues
• Maintain and test fiber optic and network systems
• Support tower, router, and modem installations
• Ensure proper signal strength and network performance
